Welcome to my website!

A picture of 'me'

Hi! My name is Paul. I am a very cool guy. This is me in this picture here: (Not really. It's actually a picture by Ryan Bliss from Digital Blasphemy.) When I come across a picture of me that I can tolerate I'll put it up.

The future... is not here (yet)

My intent for the website is to be a place where I can put cool stuff that I come across in my digital wanderings, or random thoughts from my day/week/month. Sort of like a cross between a blog and stumbleupon and stuff like that. As the form develops in my mind things will most likely change to reflect new design ideas and to make navigation easier. Probably the right-hand link column will become more of an info-finding place, and entertainment and other random stuff will go into a sort of archive format with an index by date (with description) so you can browse through and find something interesting if you're bored. Any ideas are welcome and will definitely be considered, especially if they are described in detail.

If you have watched Minority Report, you'll probably think this is really cool. If you haven't, you'll probably still think it's really cool. If so, go watch Minority Report. Now.

(Begin old stuff to be phased out soon...)

Fun stuff I like

  • Escher was a cool guy who made cool drawings and stuff - check it out!
  • sweet site on many things astronomical. pretty big though - may take a while to load with slower internet connections (lots of sweet movies/animations)
  • and, of course, I can't forget one of my favorites... (even if it is just to window shop)
  • haha... this is sooo true...  at least for any science-related majors.   :-)   (from brightlywound.com)

Useful stuff - maybe...

Find out more about me.   ;-)
My personality according to blogthings.com. Most of these ones that I picked are actually pretty accurate...
